Why the room-and-car-share model
The base price assumes double occupancy on both fronts — two people sharing a room and sharing driving duties on the same car across the route. This is the most common way guests book, and it’s reflected in the from-price; a solo room or a car without a co-driver splitting the wheel time is available as an upgrade rather than the default, since most groups arrive as couples or paired friends specifically to share both.
